The basic version of secty lifePatron® TA consists of the earthquakedetector secty lifePatron® TA as a stand-alone device with two integrated, rechargeable batteries for emergency power. 2 connected beacons and sirens (105 decibels) warn inhabitants in case of an impending earthquake.
The system status is indicated visually by LEDs for operation, failure and alarm.
The advanced version of the system consists of the earthquake detector secty lifePatron®TAD EQ[m] The system offers, in addition to advance earthquake warning by 2 sirens, the possibility of gas supply shut-down by means of an electromagnetic gas valve. Handling of the system is menu-driven through an LCD display (4 x 20 characters), with a console integrated into the front cover of the housing. All pending information and indications are shown in the display. There is the option of observing the operation and control functions via TABD from a remote location (security center or gate keeper).

Redundant earthquake monitoring by :
secty lifePatron®TA EQ[s]
Earthquake monitoring can be performed by the above-described versions.For this purpose,TA EQ[m] or TAD EQ[m] are connected via data lines to TA EQ[s] in a master-slave arrangement. [m] stands for master; [s] stands for slave. The master scans all slaves cyclically and decides on triggering of an alarm of all earthquake detectors. A maximum of 16 advance earthquake warning systems can be connected. Of course, 2 sirens may be installed on each slave.
