secty lifePatron®TB
This version consists of the earthquake detector TB EQ[m] in connection with the "Energy Management System" TBD EMS and the power supply unit TB PS. The three components form the basic unit of this system. The separate components are interconnected by data lines.
Operation/control of the entire system is menu-driven by means of an LCDdisplay (4 x 20 characters) with a console integrated into the front cover of the housing of TBD EMS. There is the option of observing the operation and control functions via TABD from a remote location (security center or gate keeper).
The basic unit of secty lifePatron®TB can optionally be expanded by more basic units, as well as by single components - according to the individual needs of the customer or the existing building equipment.
The system or device status is indicated visually by LEDs for operation, failure and alarm.
secty lifePatron®TB EQ[m]: Earthquake detector
In case of an alarm, the earthquake detector TB EQ[m], as master device, decides on triggering of an optical/acoustic alarm of all sirens connected to PS as well as on the actuation of electronic energy and building installations connected to TBD EMS.
secty lifePatron®TB PS : Energy supply unit
TB PS supplies low voltage to the entire system System secty lifePatron® TB via a low voltage line. An integrated rechargeable battery emergency power supply secures the operation of the system in case of a power failure. When TB EQ[m] detects and reports an impending earthquake, the optical/acoustic alarm is triggered and sounded through the max. 6 sirens connected to the PS.
secty lifePatron®TBD EMS :
Energy management system
When TB EQ[m] detects and reports an impending earthquake, an alarm is also triggered to activate the energy management system TBD EMS. The energy management system TBD EMS then immediately actuates all connected energy systems and electronic building and infrastructure installations.
In this way, for instance, it is possible to
> shut down gas and electricity supplies
> shut down the water supply
> activate emergency power generators
> actuate elevators
> open safety doors and gates
> control signal installations in front of bridges and tunnels
> control railway signal installations
> run data back-up programs
Overall, a TBD EMS system is able to control up to a maximum of 8 different electronically operated energy systems and building installations.
An asset for security! Redundant earthquake control by : secty lifePatron®TBD EMS
The earthquake control of secty lifePatron®TB can be made redundant by expansion with additional basic units of TB. The earthquake detectors operating in the other basic units are then operated as slaves with the name TB EQ[s] . The master scans all slaves cyclically and decides on triggering of an alarm of all earthquake detectors in the connected system.
Of course, redundancy in earthquake control can also be achieved by installing additional individual earthquake detectors of version TB EQ[s] on TB.
